The Future of District 4

Excuse the mess, I am still working on getting everything together.

As the title of the domain states, I am William Reed. I decided to open a blog to voice my concerns for Alabama’s 4th Congressional District. After sending numerous complaints and questions to Congressman Robert Aderholt, and never receiving a reply, I felt enough is enough.

My name is William Reed, I am from a small town in Pickens County where I am running for the District 2 Council seat against the incumbent. I’m 21 years old, working with a large retailer in Northport, Alabama.

I personally consider myself to be a republican with libertarian ideals. I believe in sound money, balanced budgets, and remembering that the position I am running for is to be the voice of those people, not my own.

I do not wish to turn this website into a campaign website. I would prefer it to be more about making my own comments about what is going on in our country and the state. With the recent federal bailouts of Bear Sterns, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac, I see out country heading down a dark path. If I can only help inform a single person, I have done my job.
